Trends 23
Get ready to break out the old purple, people! Or more specifically, lavender. Digital lavender to be exact, as it’s going to be the 2023 colour of the year.
Throughout 2022, we have been seeing pastel colours trend across many design sectors. And it’s been extremely well received by many. In 2023 we will see it applied in furniture design and full monochromatic interiors. Lavender is a purifying colour, bringing new energy - a new digital lifestyle era.
Other colours set to make their mark next year are:
Red Latex
A color that screams empowerment and passion. This returning colour trend is key to the upcoming years, after the pandemic times. The red colour trend is useful in prompting new experiences and no doubt, excitement into next years’ interior design projects.
Brown Sand
A mixed orange-brown trend tone and the warmest colour trend for the year 2023. Combined with the use of neutrals for interior design, this is a colour trend that resonates as earthy, organic, and nature elements.
Wellness Blue
Blue will never go out of style but this is a lighter tone, calling for wellness. This is a colour trend inspiring the elements of water and air that can be used easily across both commercial and residential sectors. Wellness blue is also set to promote sustainability and lightness in the design world.
Deep Green Lake
A dark turquoise green tone that we are already starting to see. Associated with the retro nostalgia home design trend, this colour also expresses a bold aesthetic in interior design. It is seen as bold and engaging and will touch our lives not only across interiors but also fashion and other design elements.
